Also in the Entryway is this Replica of a Swedish Mora Clock. I had wanted one for years and My Sweet Hubby Rick surprised me for My Birthday. His name is Cogsworth and of course he had to be Decorated for Christmas.

Let's Head Upstairs
A New Addition to our home this year was a Driftwood Horse that My Friend, Judy Mudgett, Creatively named Sycamore. Sycamore is in the Indiana State Song and is a Tree from which he was originally was created.
Melissa's Office: "The Birdhouse Tree" - This Theme was Created from the Shape of the Room. The Ceiling Vault and Rounded Window Creates a Birdhouse Effect.
Melissa's Craft Room: The Craft Room Tree is Named "The Giving Tree" as this is the room where we Wrap Gifts, Repurpose, Create and Craft. It's a Such a Fun Room :).
The Guest Bedroom: This Room was Redecorated over the last Year and The Tree is appropriately named "The Coastal Tree" as it feels like we should be on the Beach.
The Guest Bathroom: The Coastal Guest Bathroom with a few little touches of Christmas.
Time to Head to the Lower Level....
Santa's Workshop : As you enter the Lower Level you will find My Favorite New Christmas Scene this Year that I have named "Santa's Workshop". The inspiration came from the Handmade Doll that my Grandma made me over 40-years-ago that Santa is holding. She is no longer with us, but I felt her presence Christmas Morning through this Display.
My Handmade Doll My Grandma Made 40+-Years-Ago |
Santa's Workshop |
There are Toys in the Workshop you would find from years ago such as Raggedy Ann, a Jack-in-the-Box, Fisher Price Pull-Along Phone and Blocks. It was so much Fun putting this display together.
Santa's Naughty and Nice List has our Grandkids and Lil' Nephew's Names at the Top. I hope someday that they think I was the 'Cool Grandma' like I thought of My Grandma.
This Tree was the Most Fun Tree to put together than Any other Tree in the House....
Rick's Office: We are in the process of redecorating Rick's Office to "Rick's Man Cave". It will have an Aviator Theme because of his Love for Planes.
The Lower Level Living Room: The Tree is an Icy Winter Wonderland Tree.
The Lower Level Foyer: This area leads to our Patio and is by our Game Tables. We named the Tree "The Nutcracker Suite" as My Padre has been buying Nutcrackers from Auctions for this area.
The Lower Level Bathroom: This room was redecorated this year and it was fun adding new Christmas Touches.
The Theater: One of Our Favorite Trees is "Frosty". It's a Little Dark in this Room, as it should be, but in person He is sooo Cute.
Our Family Wishes You the Happiest 2016!!!
The End!!
