Barns and Bridges

Hello Everyone:

I wanted to share our Recent Family Adventure as we Continue to Explore Indiana.  This is our Third Trip this Spring and we have found that our Beautiful State of Indiana is Packed Full of Culture, Rich History and lots of Barns and Bridges.

Mr. Alexander (Salem High Teacher) with Mudder and D (Mr. A's Mom and Dad)

"D" Popped in the Soundtrack to the "Book of Mormon" and Off We Went.....

Home Sweet American Culture.... Ms. Weezer was out working in the yard of her Beautiful Victorian Home.  These Victorian Homes were built during the "Victorian Era" (1840-1900) in England and are often built with a Turret, Wood Detailing and a Wrap-Around Veranda.

I'm ready to make an offer Ms. Weezer!!  What I would give to be able to return this home to its original glory.

Americana on a Beautiful Spring Day..... We stopped by Tom's Farm to Visit.  I asked Tom, what I thought was a reasonable request, if I could take a Chunk of the side of his Barn to build a "Reclaimed Wood Dining Room Table" and if he could throw in that "Sliding Barn Door" to be installed in my Master Suite.   Tom Did Not Oblige!

Tom just couldn't see My Vision..... This is What I See when I look at Your Beautiful Barn Tom:

This is a walking and one-lane driving bridge.  The unique feature of this bridge is that there is a window half way down so you can look out and take a peek at the water.
